Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing MEP projects.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, serving as the primary liaison between the firm and clients while delivering exceptional service and professionalism.
• Drive growth by cultivating client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing to identify prospective projects and develop proposals, leading the process.
• Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, and fees, documenting requirements in engineering agreements.
• Oversee engineering agreements, aligning client expectations with capabilities, schedules, and goals.
• Direct projects from initiation to completion, delivering on time and within budget.
• Coordinate responsibilities among multidisciplinary teams to foster collaboration and high performance.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources across disciplines; communicate potential budget impacts and mitigation strategies.
• Communicate objectives and requirements clearly to teams, consultants, and QA reviewers.
• Prepare and deliver regular status updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate documentation of project communications and coordinate with external consultants and contractors.
• Ensure QA reviews at milestones and smooth transitions into construction services.
• Provide leadership for bidding and construction phase services; align with contracts.
• Support or serve as Construction Services Representative on select projects.
• Maintain long-term client relationships post-completion for future opportunities.
• Manage project data, forecasting, invoicing, and staffing in PM systems.
• Represent the firm at client meetings and industry events to strengthen market presence.
