Job summary

Kamm Consulting, Inc. in Deerfield Beach, FL, is seeking a Licensed Mechanical PE Senior Engineer / Project Manager with 10+ years in MEP consulting. This hands-on role combines mechanical design, project leadership, and team development, serving as Engineer of Record and main client contact.

You will lead design and production, manage scope/schedule, mentor designers, and advance technical standards across projects. Hybrid work after onboarding is offered.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PE license with seal responsibility.
• 10+ years in MEP consulting or building systems design.
• Experience with project management responsibilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and Bluebeam.
• Experience leading commercial, multifamily, institutional, or mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and production of construction documents using Revit/BIM workflows.
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing.
• Sign and seal construction drawings as Engineer of Record.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate across MEP disciplines with architectural and structural teams.
• Support construction administration including site visits, RFIs/submittals, and punch lists.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to mechanical designers and engineers.
• Contribute to internal QC processes and standards per codes.
