Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer in Deerfield Beach, FL. This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week in-office.

The position leads projects from concept to construction, coordinating with multiple disciplines and interfacing with clients. The ideal candidate has a PE license, 9+ years in architectural/engineering consulting, and proven ability to manage schedules, control costs, and communicate technically with staff and clients.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 9 years of experience in the architectural engineering consulting environment.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Engineer expertise in mechanical discipline
• Knowledge of construction costs and life cycle analysis
• Experience managing small projects and / or functioning as the secondary point of contact on larger projects
• Ability to schedule and manage tasks for the mechanical discipline
• Demonstrated success in technical / formal communication with clients and staff
• Proven ability to represent the mechanical discipline at meetings

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to completion of construction with in-house coordination with multiple disciplines.
• Interface with clients, provide technical excellence, and manage the project team and schedule for a successful outcome.
