Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with MEP consulting or A/E design firms.
• Extensive hands-on Revit experience for building systems design.
• Experience designing mechanical/HVAC systems for commercial or institutional buildings.
• Knowledge of applicable mechanical, energy, and building codes.
• Ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical/HVAC design for commercial and institutional projects.
• Develop construction documents and specifications using Revit.
• Lead projects from concept through construction administration.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection.
• Coordinate designs with electrical, architectural, and structural teams.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and site observations.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
