Job summary
Resource Consulting Engineers, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for commercial and institutional building projects in the Ames/Des Moines, IA or Omaha, NE area. This is a hands-on leadership role coordinating with clients and project teams, delivering design through construction administration.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in MEP consulting, extensive Revit experience, and a Professional Engineer license.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
- Experience in MEP consulting or A/E design.
- Experience designing electrical/MEP systems for commercial/institutional buildings.
- Strong Revit design and construction documents.
- On-site work in Ames/Des Moines IA or Omaha NE area.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for commercial and institutional projects.
- Coordinate power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Develop construction documents using Revit.
- Lead projects from concept to construction administration.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Review submittals and RFIs.
- Provide site visits and field observations.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers.
- Support growth of RCE electrical practice.
