Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (MEP) for Facilities (Maintenance) in Pittsburgh, PA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• PE license required or the ability to pursue one.
• 5+ years within HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection including fire alarm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and able to work with multiple teams.
• Willingness to mentor junior engineers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Support design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various projects.
• Perform and review mechanical calculations, equipment selections, and layouts.
• Oversee hydronic piping design, ductwork, and equipment sizing.
• Develop and manage project schedules and client expectations.
• Ensure quality construction documents, drawings, specs, and calculations.
