Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician MEP to perform a variety of maintenance duties across electrical and mechanical systems within our ESFM division. The role includes field leadership, quality assurance, and managing escalations to ensure reliable facility operations.

Requirements include four years of trade schooling, five years as a maintenance technician in institutional settings, and two years as a licensed Journeyman.

Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repairs and report major problems to the maintenance supervisor and foreman.
• Construct, install, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems and related facilities.
• Inspect HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems and related equipment.
• Lead a group of workers on a project.
• Read, comprehend and transmit complex instructions in writing and verbally.
• Maintain logs, complete work orders and inspections, and train staff.
