Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of MEP to lead all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building systems activity across the company’s projects. As the senior MEP expert, you’ll support teams from pursuit through closeout and set the standards that drive quality, schedule, budget, safety, and commissioning results.

You will oversee MEP across the full project portfolio, develop company-wide standards, mentor teams, and contribute to strategic planning and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of construction experience with a strong MEP focus.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and BAS.
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and MS Project; Revit is a plus.
• Strong means, methods, procurement, scheduling, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEP activity across the full project portfolio and ensure quality and safety.
• Develop and implement company-wide MEP standards, best practices, and QC measures.
• Mentor project teams, field staff, and up-and-coming MEP professionals.
• Lead design reviews, BIM/VDC coordination, and coordination with architects/owners.
• Manage commissioning plans, turnover, and owner acceptance.
