Qualifications

15 years of construction inspection experience, including complex MEP projects.
Extensive experience with fire alarm systems and life-safety requirements.
Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

Perform specialized field inspections for MEP disciplines and related construction.
Provide oversight for phased demolition and replacement of fire alarm systems.
Inspect removal and replacement of fire alarm panels and devices.
Monitor the new system installation through testing and commissioning.
Verify installations meet contract documents and codes.
Inspect complex MEP work for compliance with standards.
Schedule, coordinate, and perform inspections across project phases.
Maintain detailed written inspection reports and defect logs.
Utilize project software to document inspection activities.
Coordinate with contractors and project stakeholders to resolve issues.
