Job summary

The Ravin Group in Louisville, KY, is seeking an experienced MEP Estimator to join our commercial construction team. You will perform quantity take-offs, price bids, and manage risk across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components, from conceptual to final design phases.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor's in engineering or construction management and at least five years' estimating in two MEP disciplines, proficiency with estimating software, and strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years estimating experience in at least two of the three MEP disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Proficient with estimating software and digital take-off tools.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate quantity take-offs, pricing, and scoping for MEP components.
• Develop competitive bids by analyzing drawings, narratives, and specifications.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and scope coverage.
• Price bids for subcontractors, suppliers, and self-performed work with attention to risk.
• Identify project risks and constructability issues to inform estimates.
