Job summary

Willmeng Construction Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is hiring an experienced MEP Estimator to develop detailed estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a diverse portfolio including data centers, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites.

You will collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, constructible solutions while mentoring peers and handling multiple bids under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years estimating experience focusing on mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Experience with subcontractor estimating and GC/hybrid environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems including central utility plants and specialized environments.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; familiarity with takeoff tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates and budgets for MEP scopes across diverse projects.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps and constructability issues.
• Collaborate with design teams, subs, and internal stakeholders to validate pricing.
• Contribute to conceptual estimating and value engineering efforts.
• Mentor teammates in estimating best practices and tools.
• Manage multiple bids and deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Refine estimating processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
