Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Estimator in Newport Beach, CA to prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for MEP systems on moderately complex projects. You will coordinate with design and preconstruction teams to assess constructability and support overall cost strategy.

Responsibilities include takingoffs, bid tab preparations, value engineering, and collaborating with trade partners to refine pricing in line with project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Owns assigned MEP scopes and prepares detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for MEP systems across multiple project phases.
• Reviews drawings, specifications, and addenda to identify technical scope requirements and potential conflicts, and prepares bid tabs and scope summaries.
