Job summary

Suffolk is seeking a Senior MEP Estimator, Advanced Manufacturing, to lead the estimate lifecycle for complex electrical scopes across pre-construction to GMP. You will perform detailed takeoffs, develop estimates using multiple pricing methods, and present findings to owners and project teams.

The role requires seven+ years of electrical estimating experience, strong technical fluency, and a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive electrical estimating and preconstruction experience.
• Advanced-technology background with experience in semiconductor, data center, or similar facilities.
• GC estimating capability to develop complete estimates at multiple design stages.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods and I&C interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimate lifecycle for electrical scopes across multiple bid phases.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings, specs, and models.
• Develop estimates using unit rates, assemblies, and historical benchmarks.
• Prepare assumptions, clarifications, and take corrective cost model updates.
