Genesis Health Clubs in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer to design and optimize building systems for new health club facilities. You will collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to deliver energy-efficient, reliable club environments across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on engineering expertise and strong project management, with a track record in renovation and construction projects.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with commercial building MEP systems.
• Experience managing construction or renovation projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Mansioni

• Design, review HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems across club facilities.
• Develop engineering standards for new club construction, remodels, and system upgrades.
• Evaluate facility infrastructure to improve energy efficiency, reliability, and lifecycle performance.
• Troubleshoot complex MEP issues and provide technical guidance to facility teams.
• Support planning and execution of new club builds, expansions, and renovations.
• Review contractor drawings, engineering plans, and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders during construction projects.
• Provide technical support to maintenance teams across locations.
• Develop preventative maintenance strategies for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through system upgrades, controls optimization, and energy management.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Maintain documentation for engineering standards, system specifications, and procedures.
• Evaluate relationships with consultants, contractors, and vendors; assist with RFPs and contract reviews.
