Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Science.
  • 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and building mechanical infrastructure.
  • Experience with controls integration and building automation systems.
  • Travel throughout the region as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead facility assessments and site investigations.
  • Analyze utility consumption and building performance.
  • Develop HVAC, controls, lighting, water conservation, and building envelope solutions.
  • Perform engineering calculations and energy savings analyses.
  • Develop project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Prepare technical audits, reports, and proposal documentation.
  • Manage project development schedules and deliverables.

Location: Olathe, Kansas
Compensation: $120,000 - $155,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus
Travel: Approximately 20-30% regional travel throughout Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska

What You'll Do

As the technical lead on project development efforts, you will help clients identify, evaluate, and implement building system improvements that reduce operating costs and improve facility performance.

Required Qualifications
