Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (MEP) to lead electrical system designs for diverse project types. You will mentor junior staff and deliver coordinated construction documents while ensuring code compliance.

The role demands 7+ years in MEP electrical design, a strong background in commercial and multifamily sites, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Onsite Orlando office; PE preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in MEP electrical design.
• Strong background in commercial and multifamily projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software.
• Solid understanding of NEC and applicable building codes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but NOT required.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for commercial, multifamily, healthcare, municipal, and specialty projects.
• Develop power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage system designs.
• Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams.
• Support construction administration activities, including site visits and RFIs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers.
