Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer, PE to join its MEP team in Orlando, FL. The role leads design and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, motor controls, and instrumentation, with responsibility for drawings and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering for industrial, municipal, or commercial projects, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering for industrial, municipal, or commercial projects.
• PE license preferred but not required; proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of electrical systems.
• Create and review drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
• Review designs, specifications, and calculations for quality.
• Identify project risks and mitigate issues.
• Ensure safety compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to management and clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs.
• Support field activities during site inspections, start-up, and commissioning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
