Job summary

Interface Engineering Inc. is a nationwide employee-owned firm offering a Collaboration from Home policy with a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in-office per week). We seek a Project Manager/Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (MEP) for the National Capital Region to lead multiple projects and coordinate MEP design across disciplines.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage design coordination with architects/owners, and ensure milestones meet budgets and codes. P.E.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in MEP design consulting.
• Advanced knowledge of building industry codes and standards.
• LEED Accreditation and REVIT knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and design: collaborate with architects and owners to develop scope, budget, and timeline.
• Project implementation and management: coordinate stakeholders to achieve milestones, monitor progress and site inspections.
• Quality assurance and documentation: establish QA processes, maintain project docs and conduct audits.
• Team leadership and collaboration: mentor junior engineers, promote communication and knowledge sharing.
