Job summary

Clayco, a full-service real estate development and construction firm, seeks an MEP Superintendent to manage field operations on design-build projects nationwide. Based on the site, you will oversee quality control for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, coordinating with multiple teams to keep work on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a BS in construction management or engineering, 3–15 years of technical commercial/industrial experience on large projects,

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience.
• 3–15 years of experience in technical commercial/industrial construction management on $10M+ projects.
• Ability to supervise employees and subcontractors within budget and schedule.
• Strong safety record and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with preconstruction, design, procurement and site teams to ensure adequate resources.
• Lead the MEP/FP subcontractors and suppliers across field activities.
• Administer MEP/FP submittals, RFIs, field changes and field engineering items.
• Oversee MEP Quality Control, start-up, energization, and functional testing.
• Manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP systems scopes.
