Job summary

Stantec’s commissioning group is seeking an experienced professional to lead and execute commissioning projects for complex data center facilities. You will guide planning, testing, and documentation, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure performances meet design intent and reliability.

The role requires extensive experience in MEP systems and strong technical writing, with travel to domestic sites largely within the United States.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years in engineering service delivery or design environment with MEP experience.
Data Center / Mission Critical experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in commissioning projects across planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Perform design reviews, prepare commissioning scripts and reports, and manage on-site testing.
Develop SOPs, MOPs, and comprehensive commissioning documentation.
Prepare test procedures and reports; maintain logs and checklists.
Interface with contractors, vendors, and testing technicians; lead meetings.
