Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network is seeking a part-time Peer Specialist to support the Older Adult Program in offices and in the community. You will draw on your own recovery experience to provide hope and engagement to older mental health consumers.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with the Older Adult Program team, complete required Peer Specialist training, and travel as needed to reach clients in the community. A high school diploma is required.

Formación

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Peer Coordinator must have been treated in a behavioral health system for at least one year and have stability.
• Experience with older adults is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Provide recovery-oriented peer services to older adult mental health consumers.
• Engage and inspire hope using recovery experiences.
• Collaborate with Older Adult Program staff to support recovery.
• Travel 100% of the time.
• Support office and community activities in the Older Adult Program.
