Job summary

Veterans Health Administration is seeking a Supervisory Program Specialist to lead the Member Services Section within the Business Administration Service at the Palo Alto Health Care System. The role supervises a team at GS-07/08 level and oversees programs across VAPAHCS including benefits, enrollment/eligibility, TRICARE/CHAMPVA, admissions and decedent affairs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of employees performing work at the GS-07/08 level.
• Manage the daily operations of diverse programs across VAPAHCS (benefits, enrollment/eligibility, TRICARE/CHAMPVA, admissions, decedent affairs, beneficiary travel, patient funds, catastrophically disabled program).
• Supervise the Member Services section within the Business Administration Service.
• Organize and supervise workflow, set priorities, and assign tasks; evaluate staffing needs and train subordinates.
