Job summary

Maritz Global Events is seeking a Senior Meeting/Event Manager to lead complex meetings, including national sales meetings and incentive programs. You will manage operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and provide strategic guidance from planning through execution.

The role requires strong Cvent proficiency, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The position offers flexible work options (virtual or in-office in Missouri) with up to 20–30%

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cvent (website builds, attendee management, reporting)
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, and ability to analyze/report data

Responsibilities

• Manage event operations including hotel blocks, registration, inventory management, and program logistics for large and complex meetings
• Proven success managing large-scale National Sales Meetings, HCP programs, and incentive events with significant stakeholder visibility and business impact
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, providing strategic guidance throughout planning and execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across multiple workstreams
• Lead and mentor teams, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
• Travel for Operations Site Inspections and on-site program execution as needed
