Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to develop medium-voltage product concepts and electrical designs. You will create drawings, models, and BOMs, and lead design risk analysis, validation and testing to meet customer requirements.

Candidates should have 10+ years in MV components or related fields, with MV design expertise and AutoCAD/SolidWorks Electrical experience; PE/Chartered Engineer certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience developing medium-voltage components, power management, substation, or switchgear products.
• Medium-voltage electrical design expertise.
• AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical experience (preferred).
• PE or Chartered Engineer certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop medium-voltage product concepts and electrical designs.
• Create drawings, models, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Lead design risk analysis, validation, and testing.
• Ensure products meet customer requirements, are manufacturable and safe.
