Job summary

TEC Equipment is seeking a Medium Duty Truck Sales Manager in Oakland, CA to drive profitable sales and align with dealership goals. You will lead the MD Sales department, manage relationships with customers and Mack contacts, and coordinate marketing plans to keep TEC at the forefront of the market.

The role requires 5+ years in truck sales with supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in new or used truck sales with supervisory background.
• Knowledge of service support and medium duty trucks.
• Strong people management and leadership skills; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for profitability, risk management, and growth of the Medium Duty Sales department.
• Build relationships with customers; travel to client sites ~50% of the time.
• Lead business planning, set targets, and ensure accountability for the team.
• Hire and develop the MD Sales team; ensure training and compliance.
• Stay current with industry trends and TEC culture to drive results.
