Job summary

Responsibilities

• Execute the Medicare Compliance Program in alignment with CMS and applicable federal and state regulations, ensuring prevention, detection, and correction of noncompliance and FWA.
• Interprets and translates federal, state, and contractual requirements into clear, actionable compliance guidance for business stakeholders.
• Develops regulatory communications, including responses to inquiries, issue summaries, and disclosures, liaising with regulators as appropriate.
• Supports the preparation, validation, and submission of regulatory reports, attestations, and filings.
• Proactively identifies compliance risks, conducts risk assessments, and recommends mitigations.
• Leads or supports corrective action plans to ensure effective resolution of gaps.
• Provides SME to audit and monitoring activities, including testing strategies.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to support audit execution and regulatory reviews.
• Evaluates remediation plans and ensures sustainable resolutions.
• Contributes to compliance training and mentoring across the organization.
• Reviews policies and processes to align with regulatory requirements.
• Drives cross-functional initiatives to improve compliance processes.
• Monitors regulatory developments and industry trends.
