Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced Medicare Compliance Advisory expert to support day-to-day execution of the program and provide regulatory guidance to business and leadership. The role emphasizes research, issue tracking, and timely filings in line with CMS requirements and state regulations.

You will collaborate with the Sr. Manager to ensure accurate interpretation of CMS guidance, maintain documentation of risks and trends, and participate in corrective action planning and audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required; advanced degrees preferred.
• 5+ years in compliance, regulatory, operations, or risk management in regulated industries.
• Experience advising on regulatory requirements, risk tracking, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Medicare Compliance Program in alignment with CMS and state regulations.
• Translate federal/state requirements into clear guidance for business stakeholders.
• Develop regulatory communications and coordinate with regulators and internal teams.
• Prepare, validate, and submit regulatory reports and attestations.
• Identify risks, assess exposure, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Lead or support root-cause analyses and corrective action plans.
• Support audit scope, testing strategies, and ongoing compliance oversight.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure audit readiness and regulatory reviews.
• Evaluate remediation plans and ensure sustainable corrective actions.
• Contribute to training and mentoring on regulatory requirements.
