USA Health in Mobile, AL seeks a Medical Technologist II (MT II) to perform routine to high-complexity laboratory testing, maintain quality control, and support patient care. The MT II will operate LIS/CIS, adhere to policies, and participate in ongoing education and departmental initiatives.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Medical Technology with 2 years of MT experience and registry eligibility (ASCP/AMT).

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree with major coursework in Medical Technology from an accredited institution and 2 years of MT experience.
• Registry eligible with ASCP or AMT as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine, STAT, moderate- and high-complexity laboratory testing according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold hospital policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Operate and troubleshoot Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and hospital CIS and related software.
• Maintain equipment, perform QC, calibration, and preventive maintenance; ensure instrument readiness.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
