Position Overview

Routinely performs the duties of a Medical Technologist as well as the functions of the section supervisor. Responsibilities include maintaining SOPMs and instrumentation, supervising staff training and competencies, overseeing overall operations of the assigned section (including ordering, maintenance, quality control), completing performance evaluations, initiating disciplinary actions, and scheduling as needed. As requested, takes on the duties of the department manager.

Compensation Range:

$31.15 - $46.72 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience:

• B.S. in Medical Technology, Biology or Chemistry or similar
• 6 years work experience as a Medical Technologist

License/Certification:

• Current certification (e.g., ASCP or NCA preferred)
