Job summary

Medtronic seeks a Senior Technical Writer to plan, write, and coordinate timely product documentation including instructions for use and user manuals for global markets. You will collaborate with engineering, regulatory, and global teams to ensure quality and compliance across Medtronic Surgical's products.

You will gather data through user interviews, translate technical information into clear manuals and web documents, and support translation and publishing workflows using MS Word, FrameMaker,

Qualifications

• Plan, write, and coordinate the timely development of product documentation (instructions for use, user manuals, etc.) describing the use and operation for Medtronic Surgical's new and existing products for global markets.
• Produces instructions for use, manuals and other product documentation that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate with and provide support to Medtronic international business functions as necessary in order to meet legal and regulatory requirements and maintain Medtronic standards of quality.
• Conducts interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation.
• Researches and translates technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users.
