Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related engineering/science discipline.
• At least three years of relevant experience in medical device development is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, including electro-mechanical and software engineering.
• Experience with internet-connected, software-enabled devices and cybersecurity considerations.
• Familiarity with SysML or UML and requirement management tools (DOORS or Jama).

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities across product development stages from concept to post-market surveillance.
• Translate clinical and user needs into effective product realization strategies.
• Gather and manage requirements from regulatory standards, human factors, manufacturing, and service teams.
• Drive system-level design and product realization by integrating technology, process, and therapy knowledge.
• Create and maintain design history files ensuring compliance with industry standards.
