Qualifications

• Initial and recredentialing verification processes including education, training, licensure, work history, affiliations.
• Investigates discrepancies or adverse findings to support informed leadership decisions.
• Processes clinical privilege requests according to established criteria.
• Manages credentialing workflows to ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Liaises with physicians and stakeholders to communicate status and required documentation.
• Monitors productivity and quality metrics and contributes to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Initial and recredentialing primary source verification of education, training, licensure, work history, affiliations, malpractice history, and references.
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies or adverse findings to support decision-making.
• Processes clinical privilege requests per criteria.
• Manages credentialing workflows to meet Joint Commission, CMS, and NCQA standards and timelines.
• Acts as liaison to physicians and stakeholders to communicate application status and document requirements.
• Supports system optimization and participates in departmental projects.
