Job summary

Takeda, Colorado - Virtual, is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team to analyze, interpret and disseminate scientific data, translate customer insights, and connect external experts to advance medical strategy and improve patient outcomes.

The Rocky Mountain territory includes CO, UT, AZ, NM, NE and KS, with up to 70% travel. A doctoral degree or Master’s in health sciences with 2+ years MSL experience is required.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree preferred; Master’s minimum
• Minimum 2 years of field-based MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization and collaboration skills
• Dissemination of complex scientific data to healthcare audiences
• Clinical, research, and/or teaching experience
• Ability to work effectively in virtual and cross-functional teams
• Execution of activities within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and drive/ fly as needed

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities constitute ~80% of responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans
• Analyze complex scientific information and disseminate to KOLs/HCPs compliantly
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with clinical studies
• Collect and communicate medical insights to inform strategy
• Identify partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical
• Participate in medical conferences and staff booths to share insights
• Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries
• Complete CRM entries, insights capture, training and expense reporting
