About the Role

A growing biopharmaceutical organization focused on advancing innovative therapies for neurological and psychiatric disorders is seeking a Medical Science Liaison / Senior Medical Science Liaison to join its Field Medical Affairs team. The company is dedicated to addressing unmet needs in neuroscience through the development of differentiated therapies designed to improve patient outcomes across serious central nervous system conditions. The organization maintains a diverse portfolio of marketed and investigational therapies spanning multiple neurological and psychiatric indications and is committed to scientific innovation, collaboration, and patient‑centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, and key opinion leaders within the assigned therapeutic area
  • Serve as a scientific expert and communicate clinical and medical information related to approved and investigational therapies
  • Maintain deep knowledge of disease states, emerging science, and the competitive treatment landscape
  • Deliver scientific presentations and educational discussions to external stakeholders upon request
  • Gather and communicate medical insights from peer‑to‑peer interactions to internal cross‑functional teams
  • Identify regional clinical and educational needs to support broader medical and business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across medical affairs, clinical development, and commercial functions as appropriate
  • Contribute to the advancement of field medical strategies and team initiatives
  • Support company‑sponsored research activities and assist with investigator‑sponsored research processes when needed
  • Complete required documentation and administrative responsibilities, including field activity reporting, medical information requests, compliance training, and expense reporting
Qualifications
  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree required (MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD)
  • Prior Medical Science Liaison experience preferred
  • Experience in neuropsychiatry, neurology, geriatrics, or related therapeutic areas preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel as needed
  • Ability to meet credentialing requirements for access to healthcare institutions
