Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to provide clinical, scientific, and health economic information for CNS diseases.

You will engage Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, and other stakeholders within your ecosystem to improve patient outcomes while supporting the company’s ecosystem-based engagement model. The role involves deep collaboration across medical, field teams, safety, and clinical trials, with travel up to 70% depending on territory.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master's degree with equivalent psychiatry or CNS clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of health systems, patient care delivery, and healthcare professionals involvement.
• Strong business acumen; knowledge of Otsuka's model and value proposition.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; capable of cross-functional work.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical and scientific perspectives to local execution plans and field activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with KIs, LPLs, KDMs and Patient Advocacy within territory.
• Maintain deep ecosystem understanding to align with patient-centric strategy and product priorities.
• Deliver evidence-based information on clinical, economic, and humanistic value of Otsuka products.
• Coordinate with matrix teams; assist regional leadership in local medical strategies.
