Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop robotics control, scheduling, and automation software for laboratory medical devices. You will work on low-level hardware communication and application-level control, with testing, validation, and documentation responsibilities.

The role requires C/C++/C# proficiency, experience with CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and an understanding of FDA/IEC 62304 standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++/C# with strong software design skills.
• Experience in designing and developing software for medical devices is preferred.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and test-driven development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software controlling medical devices according to regulatory processes.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, and validation activities to ensure safe, reliable performance.
• Support testing to verify requirements and quality standards compliance.
• Collaborate across disciplines to document design and testing activities.
• Develop and maintain low-level software for hardware communication and device control.
• Develop application-level software using state-based design methods.
• Investigate on-market issues and implement corrective actions within the development process.
