Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or PhD
• Strong knowledge of real-time and pseudo-real-time C/C++ on Linux
• Experience with motor control, sensing, state machines in medical devices
• Experience with FDA software lifecycle, risk analysis and cybersecurity
• Strong data analysis, Python scripting for test and visualization

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement control and sensing software for advanced instrumentation
• Work hands-on with mechatronic hardware in bring-up, calibration, and debugging
• Lead system optimization with experimental design and data analysis
• Collaborate with embedded/electrical teams on interfaces to controllers and firmware
• Write unit tests and ensure test coverage for software
• Develop software requirements and design docs for Quality System
