Job summary

Qualifications

• Two and a half years of progressively responsible experience in a medical record department or allied health program, with knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
• Two years of experience in a medical record department with knowledge of classification, coding, filing and indexing systems; ability to analyze and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervises para-professional medical records operations in a hospital or allied facility.
• Performs related duties as required by departmental policies and regulations.
