Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Practice Manager II for Forest Hills Internal Medicine in Cincinnati. The role leads operations for a multi-provider practice, overseeing staff and provider schedules while driving quality care and efficient workflows.

The position requires a minimum of 4 years in healthcare with 2 years in supervision, and a HS diploma (Bachelor’s preferred). BLS is preferred if clinical duties are involved.

Qualifications

• 4 years of recent experience in healthcare.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (Preferred, required if performing clinical functions, within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Anticipates, plans, organizes and directs operations of physician practices, supporting 6+ providers and 10+ employee FTEs.
• Manages day-to-day operations, staff/provider schedules and performance management.
• Oversees revenue cycle processes including registration workflows, copays and coding compliance.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates new provider integration and onboarding activities.
• Reviews data, analyzes variances and participates in budgeting and planning.
• Meets with leadership to review trends and adjust strategic priorities.
• Manages supply chain, inventory, invoices and budgets for the office.
