Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years claims experience.
• Licensed in all states where claims are handled or able to obtain licenses.
• Experience in Healthcare Professional Liability and Medical Malpractice preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and claims software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage and settle moderately complex Healthcare Professional Liability claims.
• Manage full life cycle of all assigned claims files.
• Prepare reserve and settlement authority requests for client and carrier approval.
• Negotiate settlements with clients and attorneys.
• Coordinate with carriers and outside experts as needed.
