Job summary

Desert View Hospital in Nevada is a 25-bed acute care facility seeking a Medical Technologist responsible for analyzing laboratory specimens and reporting results per protocol. The role provides leadership support to the healthcare team and upholds patient-centered care and service excellence.

The position requires a Nevada State License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist, ASCP or equivalent, BLS certification, and 3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Medical Technology (ASCP) or equivalent as defined by CLIA’88.
• 3 years experience as Medical Technologist preferred.
• Nevada State License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist; ASCP or equivalent board registration/education required upon hire; provisional license rules apply; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze laboratory specimens and report results per protocol.
• Serve as a resource for Medical Laboratory Technicians and Lab Assistants.
• Support and assist Lead Medical Technologist.
• Provide high-quality patient care with age-appropriate skills.
