Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Senior, to evaluate, analyze, and perform automated and complex laboratory procedures. The role requires maintaining compliance, monitoring workflow, and supporting the lab's regulatory obligations.

The MLS will participate in quality initiatives, train new staff, and ensure readiness for inspections while coordinating with physicians and other lab customers to meet organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Successful completion of an approved clinical laboratory training internship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory compliance in the assigned area.
• Assist with policy development and quality control.
• Monitor test menus and laboratory operations.
• Train new team members and complete competency documentation.
• Ensure inspection readiness and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with pathologists, physicians, and staff to meet objectives.
