Job summary

Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Senior, to evaluate, analyze, and perform automated and complex laboratory procedures while ensuring regulatory compliance in the assigned area.

The MLS Sr will participate in quality control, instrument evaluation, and process improvements, mentoring staff and maintaining test menus. All benefits start on day one, with comprehensive medical, retirement, and education support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or related field.
• Successful completion of an approved clinical laboratory training internship.
• National Certification such as ASCP, AAB, or AMT, or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory compliance within the assigned lab area.
• Maintain test menus and instrument usage to meet organizational needs.
• Participate in quality control and performance improvement activities.
• Mentor technologists and ensure competency documentation.
• Support supervisor in budget and operations as needed.
