Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a senior Imaging Equipment Maintenance professional to lead preventive and corrective maintenance across its system. The role covers X-ray, MRI, CT, Nuclear, Ultrasound, Mammography, and related devices.

Responsibilities include coordinating OEM and third-party service, training staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A strong background in networking, PACS, and calibration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• 8+ years in medical imaging field servicing OEMs, healthcare providers, or equipment service organizations preferred.
• Strong background in computer networking, digital imaging, PACS integration, microprocessor-based technologies and equipment operation.
• Experience with CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and X-ray is preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership, technical expertise, and sound judgment in imaging equipment issues.
• Ability to lead projects, coordinate resources and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Establishes priorities with the Manager of Imaging Engineering and perform maintenance across OhioHealth facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on Imaging Equipment (X-ray, MRI, CT, Nuclear, Ultrasound, Mammography, etc.).
• Coordinate OEM and third‑party service activities to ensure timely support.
• Provide training to imaging equipment users and on-call service for emergency maintenance.
• Order parts, manage inventory, and assist in capital equipment planning.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, JCAHO, NIOSH and other safety standards.
