The University of Central Florida College of Medicine invites applications for an Associate Dean for Students and Associate Professor/Professor of Medicine. This senior educational leadership role drives student well‑being, engagement, and academic success across preclinical and clinical phases.

Reporting to the SADME, the incumbent will lead student services, advising programs, MSPE quality, and policies in line with LCME accreditation while collaborating with college leadership to advance the

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or PhD from an accredited institution.
• MD candidates must have completed ACGME-accredited residency.
• ABMS board certification.
• Tenure track candidates must be eligible for appointment as tenured associate professor or professor upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing student affairs functions including Admissions, Career Services, Counseling and Wellness, Academic Support, Financial Services, Registrar.
• Supervising and mentoring Assistant Deans for Students and staff.
• Leading four-year advising program and Careers Curriculum for medical students; support residency application and match.
• Leading MSPE process to ensure reliable, accurate MSPEs aligned with AAMC guidelines.
• Plan and oversee orientation, White Coat Ceremony, Match Day, Class Day and Commencement.
