Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics, headquartered in Washington, seeks a Senior Medical Director to provide clinical development leadership for late-stage thoracic oncology trials. Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical degree required.
• 5+ years of industry experience in clinical development.
• Experience in clinical trial design, oversight, and regulatory interactions is required.
• Licensed to prescribe independently for at least 2 years post-internship.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical development expertise for late-stage thoracic oncology trials.
• Oversee trial design, conduct, and analysis and supervise other medical directors.
• Coordinate with regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, biostatistics, and medical affairs.
• Lead medical monitoring and data review tasks.
• Represent the company in external engagements with health authorities and investigators.
• Prepare and maintain clinical trial and regulatory documents with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate study findings and implications to stakeholders.
