Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a physician-scientist to lead late-stage thoracic oncology clinical development. The role involves overseeing study design, data analysis, and safety monitoring, while interacting with investigators and regulators to advance programs.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO/MBBS/MBChB and has 5+ years of industry experience with clinical development exposure. A strong regulatory and cross-functional collaboration background is expected, with hybrid work and relocation

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS/MBChB degree required.
• 5+ years industry experience.
• Clinical Development experience required.
• Licensed to prescribe medicines independently for at least 2 years post internship/house officer.
• Board certified/eligible in oncology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical development expertise for late-stage thoracic oncology trials, including study design, conduct and analysis.
• Perform medical monitoring: eligibility assessment, data review, and safety monitoring.
• Lead peer-to-peer interactions with investigators and external stakeholders.
• Serve as point of contact for clinical issues among study team, ethics committees, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and contribute to clinical trial and regulatory documents with cross-functional teams.
• Execute clinical development strategies within the GPT Clinical Subteam.
• Represent the company in external engagements (advisory boards, health authority interactions).
• Review and interpret clinical data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
