Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an experienced Clinical Development Medical Executive Director to lead thoracic oncology programs. You will define strategy, lead GDTs, and collaborate with GDPL to align on trial designs and regulatory expectations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years leading diverse teams, a medical or advanced degree, and extensive late-stage development experience. Hybrid work with relocation support is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Medical degree or advanced degree with relevant clinical/industry experience (typically 5+ years).
• Licensed/registered to prescribe medicines independently for at least 2 years.
• 5+ years leading diverse teams.
• Prior management responsibilities of medical directors or clinical scientists.
• Late phase drug development experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute clinical development strategy for oncology programs.
• Lead Global Development Team or serve as clinical lead across trials.
• Act as subject matter expert and endorse clinical decisions with GDPL.
• Own clinical development strategy, trial design, and delivery of results.
• Coordinate regulatory, statistical, and stakeholder input into study designs.
• Interface with Development Review Committee and regulators as needed.
• Oversee protocols, reports, and safety monitoring; evaluate data.
• Lead development of clinical and regulatory documents with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in business development evaluations and MAAs.
