Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a senior clinical development leader to guide one or more development programs through design, analysis, and regulatory submission stages. The role requires strong medical leadership, global collaboration, and adherence to regulatory standards.

You will drive cross-functional teamwork with Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, and external partners, ensuring robust data interpretation and product development alignment with corporate strategy.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or international equivalent with relevant therapeutic specialty.
• At least 5 years of clinical trial experience; 7 years preferred.
• Ability to lead complex, multi-site clinical programs independently.
• Proven leadership across global cross-functional teams; influence-based leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of clinical study data and regulatory documents.
• Oversee study integrity, timelines, and safety/efficacy assessments across programs.
• Coordinate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and other functions to align development plans.
• Represent AbbVie in external meetings and support regulatory discussions.
• Ensure adherence to GCP and regulatory requirements across studies.
