Job summary

Premier Research is seeking a Senior Medical Director to join our Medical Affairs team. You will help biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma companies transform ideas into new medicines, devices, and diagnostics.

You will provide scientific and medical guidance, participate in client meetings, and develop training materials while reviewing data and supporting study execution. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• MD degree or international equivalent.
• Board certification in Psychiatry.
• 6+ years of Clinical Research Experience.
• Experience in CRO environment is a plus.
• Expert level of knowledge in Psychiatry with working knowledge in pharmaceutical medicine or medical devices, clinical development, GCP and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides scientific & medical support and guidance to the operational teams in all relevant aspects of Premier Research projects.
• Provides expert input on RFP/RFI, including therapeutic overview, executive summary, patient recruitment, strategy and protocol considerations and study execution strategy as needed.
• Attends client meetings in conjunction with specific proposals or general capabilities presentations as needed.
• Offers both general and therapeutic training, including preparation of training materials.
• Reviews Medical/Scientific Data.

What You’ll Be Doing:

What We Are Searching For:

• Degree of Medicine or its international equivalent
• Board certification in Psychiatry
• 6+ years of Clinical Research Experience
• Previous experience of working in a CRO environment is a plus
• Expert level of knowledge in Psychiatry with a thorough working knowledge in pharmaceutical medicine or medical device fields, clinical development, GCP and regulations pertinent to clinical research.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

The annualized minimum base pay for this role is $200,000.00 USD. The actual salary will be influenced based on a variety of factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
